Lowestoft & Yarmouth RUFC Mini’s got fully into the Rugby World Cup swing on Sunday Morning against Crusaders Mini’s coming to town from Little Melton near Norwich. With the fixture starting an hour earlier than normal to ensure all the boys and girls finished in time to watch England kick off their Rugby World Cup campaign against Tonga.
On a glorious Sunday morning we had over 125 boys and girls come together to play Age Grade Rugby at Gunton Park. There was some excellent Rugby played in keeping with the Rugby values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship and once finished the boys and girls from both sides sat together eating Hotdogs whilst enjoying the England game on the big screen.
L&Y Mini’s meet up on a Sunday morning and have teams from Under 6 to Under 12 and we always welcome new and old players to come down and have a free taster session, no experience is needed.
