Lowestoft & Yarmouth RUFC is one of the oldest clubs in the Eastern Counties and one of the first, if not the first, to embrace ‘Walking Rugby’ and we are excited to be holding the inaugural ‘Gunton Park’ Walking Rugby Tournament on April 27, 2024.

This is open to all clubs and will consist of teams of 10, which must include at least one female player, and is for ages 16 years upwards.

There will be 7 on-field players with 3 rolling subs and at least one female player on the pitch at all times. This tournament is for all levels and standards. Games will be of 12 minute halves with 5 minute half time. Game spacing etc, will be decided once known how many teams are attending. The club has three pitches so has the ability to have 6 games playing at once.

Clubs can enter more than one team if they wish and it would be good if each club could supply a referee.

Cost to enter will be £50 per 10 person team.
