The Minis includes all the teams from Under 6 to Under 12 and we are treated as one giant group. Fixtures and training are on Sunday mornings usually all at the same club, or all at home. Training and matches are free of charge.

We play to the RFU's Age Grade Rugby with our Under 6's only doing training sessions followed by Under 7's and Under 8's playing non contact Tag Rugby, from there each age group is progressed and challenged by adding a new element to the game as they get older and move up the ages. Girls are able to play on an equal footing with boys until they reach Under 12's when they move to the Girls Section, the Dragons.

Safeguarding and Safety are our priorities, and we follow the RFU continuum to introduce contact and rules gradually over the years in the safest possible manner. Experience of the game is not required.

We exist to introduce the game, give the children (boys AND girls) a taster of rugby's ethos, and always encourage the RFU core vales of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

Volunteers are always needed and positively encouraged, whether coaching, organising, driving, or making tea. We provide training and kit where necessary.
